Wife got the Verizon and directTV package back in January... Saved us about 30 dollars a month... Great Deal at the time. DirectTV went dead last Thursday due to non payment... No TV for six days now (can't even watch my President tonight address the Nation)... No converter boxes or rabbit ears in the house! Verizon seems to have just kept the money without paying directTV... Calls to customer lines go to India without any help! I'm thinking of just getting a some converter boxes, rabbit ears and saving about $70.00 bucks a month and not watching 1960, 1970, 1980 and 1990 TV shows that I use to watch for free and not watching 16 minutes of commericals for every hour of programs!

I realize that you are probably really p****ed off right about now, but I am sure that you are going to find out that the package deal you made is not really a fraud. We made the same deal when we got DSL through Verizon. Bundled everything (cell phone, Direct TV, DSL, and regular phone). Never have had a problem with losing service. The only issue we had was an unauthorized charge by some answering service. I called verizon and it was taken care of that day (didnt have to pay the charge). It seems that they are not allowed to refuse a claim to your bill unless you specify that you must approve any charges first.

Sounds like there was a big mistake made. I realize that that is not a big comfort to you now, I hope they resolve it soon for you.

XM is good at fraud, call and cancel your service, they won't cancel it and they keep charging you.
