It's the same Prime discussion about every 3-5 months. If you buy from Amazon and use some of the other Prime features it can be a good value. For others it can be a waste of money.

my main complaint is being forced to pay for prime membership that I never intended to buy, wonder how many other folks have they done this to
if the $13 membership charge shows up again next month I will be telling the credit card company not to allow any more charges from Amazon on my card.

Why don't you simply cancel the membership? It's actually very easy to do on Amazon.

I have found Amazon very easy to deal with. Through a misunderstanding on my part, they began charging me a monthly subscription fee for Kindle books, a service I do not use. I called them and they canceled the subscription and refunded what I had paid, and were friendly in doing it.

I've found Amazon very easy to deal with as well. I tried prime delivery at one point just to see how it worked out and decided not to continue it. It was easy to cancel, all done on-line with out having to talk to them even.

I guess you missed the part where I canceled the membership that I had never even joined and got the refund but they still charged me another $13 the next month
I have a feeling they probably have pulled this crap on lots of folks that don’t pay close attention to their credit card statements
