I don't know about all you 2210 owners but when mine was delivered it took a white knuckle grip to move the throttle lever. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Well I went to JDPARTS and got the explosion that showed how the throttle lever worked and then set aside a little time (about 1hr) to disassemble the required parts to get at that double nut arrangement that controls the tension on the throttle lever.
Adjusted it to my specs-2 fingers is all it takes now. What a diffference in driveability. You can actually "blip" the throttle now. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Don't ask how this works but it's just a much friendlier tractor now. Also I changed the idle rpms from 1400 to 1200. That's a set screw adjustment on the cable to the injectors.
I can't say enough about how much I love my 2210 buddy!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm amazed at the horsepower-tilling with a JD 450 and it's idling (1400 rpm) most of the time-no effort here! The 4 WD makes it a real tractor - when the rear wheels start to give out push down on the orange lever and away you go. I mow about 5 acres-some nice and level ( I built an RC plane runway-3 acres) and the rest around the vegetable and flower gardens, fruit trees and our ranch house. I had a 345 which I thought was a great tractor but the 2210 IS a GREAT tractor. We do a fair amount of home landscape work so the FEL is a real help-no more tugging around the cart!! Well as you can tell I'm really pleased with my Green Buddy! Also have the 2 stage snowblower as we get our fair share of the white stuff here. Now that will make that diesel snort!
Just thought I'd pass on my experiences so far. Delivered Jan 24, 2004 and have 50 hours on the tach-NO LEAKS!!
