I can't give any real advice on corriher's, but they were recommended to me when I was looking to buy a Yanmar.
I ended up buying mine from a dealer in Kernersville, NC though. Good luck with your search--i've been quite pleased with my Yanmar 1401d!

I bought a YM1720D from Corriher Implement. They were honest with me. Let me look over several tractors and even open up some access plates to see the condition inside of the tractors. There was no pressure to buy in my case. I have not had any problems with this tractor.

Thanks for the input about Corriher. Positive buzz is encouraging. I am hoping to stop by there on my way back from Charlotte tomorrow to look around. They carry an array of grey market tractors including Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Iseki, Hinomoto, Satoh, etc. They claim to grade them by condition and availability of parts.

Any input on these other makes would be appreciated as well.

I have heard mediocre things about the Chinese tractors. I don't know if it is true or not.

We buy what we can from the US and pay the high cost of shipping for the other parts available in Japan. Anyone need parts? we order weekly from Japan.

That is good to know. How long does it usually take to get the parts after you order them? Can you get other brands? Iseki,Hinomoto, Shibaura, etc.
