Terrific, 1401, thank you so much! How much offset is there at the angle? I'll go rig up a piece of wire with those dimensions and see if it will work for me. Thanks again.

The angle out looks like 45 degrees - turning back parallel for the last 2 inches before the other center. The offset is about 4 inches. I imagine the longer arms (27.75) offset about the same with the extra length prior to the angle out.

284, it seems you have a well equipted shop, why not cut those pins off the plow and then burn a hole to mount the pin in, then you can turn them inwards, and then reverse to fit the gas tractor.

Clemson, I thought about doing exactly what you say. What I didn't mention, and should have, was that most of my other implements have the same pin spacing, so would still interfere. I'd like to fix the tractor so it can use any attachment, rather than modify just one to fit. I tried the plow since it's the hardest pulling implement I have without piling ballast on a disk, and I actually needed to turn over the ground anyway, so it was a back to back (to back) comparison in the same soil, same day, etc, just different machines.

I am going to check on the dimensions 1401downer gave me, and bend up some wire or something and see if that will let it clear. I have discovered that the lift arms from a YM240 are longer than the YM2000's. I also learned that they aren't enough different to let it work. I don't really need the tractor for work, but I'd like this thing set up to be easily functional with any implements I need it to handle. Our work-in-progress garden is substantially in, with corn, potatoes and squash, but I want the girlfriend to be able to pull my cultivating equipment with her tractor. (Since it's her garden...that I've somehow done all the work on!):D

I also measured the remainder of my attachments, and am not sure I can use a quick hitch, since the dimensions vary too much on the things it would pull. I think offset arms will work the best, I just need to see if I have to fabricate my own or if Hoye's will work.

Crazy climate differences. We here in SC cant put your tender vegies in till at the earliest late march or early april for fear of a frost. Well you can and keep 50 pots to cover them and hope you remember. Just last week we had frost several days here!
