Ballast Front Ballast for Rotary Cutter

/ Front Ballast for Rotary Cutter #11
Mike - couldn't find an implement code for your Frontier cutter but I'm assuming you meant RC1072 (not 1076?). That's got to be close enough to an LX6 in weight/balance that the LX6 code is fine to use.

The LX6 was a "55".

According to the on-line owner's manual for the 3000-20 tractors - with I-Match, you want 5-6 42 lb weights, or 3-4 70 lbs weights (without I-Match you'd be at 3-4 42 lb weights or just 2 70 lbs weights)

Bottom line, with I-Match Deere was calling for around 231 lbs - AT the point of the old weight attachment. If you've got additonal hardware there (the front hitch) you can subtract the (net) weight gain that represents. You can also subtract the weight of whatever 'mechanism' you cook up to hold weights. You may not need too many actual weights in that box.

Actually - if that front hydraulic hitch is in the neighborhood of 80-85 lbs (or more) and you can still sneak 3 42 lbs weights in there - that may be all you need.
