JDFanatic,

/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I know. My folks live down there ("expatriot" VT'ers). Send all the snow you want. I could have made a pocket full of $'s if I'd come down that way and cleared driveways for the last 2 months!

I'm posting a few more pic's from today. I got so bored with just 8" of snow that I had to see if I could keep from getting stuck and, as my wife asked "Honey, do you think you can clear that 1st trail you made last summer...". How could I resist /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. We have guests coming up who probably won't snowshoe or X-country with us. So, I just HAD to clear some trail. A guy has to have some....uh...work to do!

I actually cleared it late yesterday but, too late to take pic.'s. Nice sun today (most of the time). So, I went back down and took the pic.'s. I need a better dig. cam.

Last was starting in, from the driveway, to clear the 1st road (trail) I built last summer.

This gives a little perspective.

And the finished product.

Note: for those who use plows...Yes, the blowers, especially front mount, are lots of $'s and slower than a plow. However, if you can find a way to swing it, they do such a nice job, in combination with a RB. I highly recommend the combo. Besides, try this trail with a plow... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif YIKES what a mess that would make.

I can think of several combos that fit different amounts of snow, preferences, etc:

o FEL plus weight in back such as my soil ripper
o FEL plus RB
o FEL plus rear snow blower (this is what my friend has in Winchester)
o Front blade only or snow blower only (what my Gravely offers)

Any of these beat a snow shovel or tiny snow blower.

Thats a nice setup. Where in VT are you? I'm in Guilford.

Thats what I use and it works great for me. But any of these setups will work great.
