Look for a PowerToy for windows.

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP

There's an image resizer plugin that allows you to right-click on the photo on your pc to resize it to whatever size you want. There are also other programs that allow you to resize directories, etc also. Just choose your flavor.

Yes, tons of them. The one I referred to above is built in to Windows
Vista.

The way I handle pictures is I take them in the highest quality my old 5-megapixel camera does for JPG images (2560 x 1920, ~2mb). I place the photos in a 'HighRes' sub-folder, then I copy them to a 'MedRes' sub-folder. I have a script I wrote for Paint Shop Pro X2's batch processing feature that resizes the photos to 640 x 480 and less than 100kb per file.

I use Google's Picasa web albums (ad free!) and now that they fixed the posting problem they were having, I'm able to post new pictures. Anyway, I post the medium resolution pictures, and if anyone want the high resolution photos, they can ask me for them.

Back to the original subject at hand...that shortened bucket looks great.

Thanks, it probably wont see much use but at least now if there's 2 ft of packed snow out on that sidewalk I don't have to kill myself chipping away at it with a walk behind blower.

The small bucket doesn't cover the tire's track width, but I'm thinking it should at least allow me to punch a hole down the middle.

Back to the pic size issue, I also did the re-sized photo file thing, there are all kinds of resizing options built into my machine and I use to use them when this site wouldn't let you upload larger pics, but then when you didn't have to change size to upload I figured it was being done on the site.

My browser does it all by itself and I don't have any sophisticated software, I do have a cable modem though.

JB.

I haven't been on this site in awhile so you all will have put up with me venting all the little projects I've concocted in the last few months.
I wanted a small bucket just for a single application and couldn't justify $600.00 for a new one.

Need the small bucket for clearing mine and a few of the neighbors public side walks about 600ft in all. Under certain circumstances smaller equipment just can't handle it. For light snow I go right through it with garden tractor and plow, when it's deeper I use WBH snow blower. But sometimes it's just to much a struggle after the road plows go by and really pile it on.

Found this light duty 61 inch bucket at the dealer all beat and got it for $50. Someone actually welded a hook in the middle of the top on this single wall construction, had it all caved in. (didn't get a pic before I jacked it back out)

Our sidewalks are 60" and the 61" bucket would tear up the grass, thus the need for the smaller bucket.

Anyway the pics will tell the rest of the story,

JB.

Great work! :)

You really got a great deal on the bucket!!

What did you lay the bucket on when you welded the ends back on??

The bucket should work out great for snow.

Thanks!

Very professional looking job. The scenery in the background is nice also!
