You are not alone is having hoses inadvertently put back in the wrong place and then go crazy trying to get the FEL back to where it was.
.
I will share some emails with you to show you are not alone.
Kris was having all kinds of problems after disconnecting the FEL valve on his JD tractor
We were exchanging so many posts with photos marked up that we switched to email as it is much easier.
To try and rule some issue out with the pump, I asked him to bypass the FEL completely by connecting the IN hose to the Power Beyond hose and to Kris' surprise the 3 pt worked again easily lifting a heavy bush hog.
What I did was disconnected the inlet hose and the pby hose from the fel valve and hooked the two hoses together. And that made my 3 pt hitch work. There was nothing feeding fel control valve
Kris, now knowing the hydraulic pump was in great shape, was more willing to consider my suggestion a hose was in the wrong place but he continued to have doubts:
Now with his focus on the FEL valve he stated this:
I think I have came to the conclusion that their is something wrong with the joystick control valve letting pressure bypass
Finally we agreed I would call him in Texas to discuss in more detail his issues. A day later I was very happy to get this message from him:
Well Mr David I got it working. I’ll send you a picture in the morning I didn’t think to do it tonight. Same valve different hose routing
These hydraulic systems can be very complicated for those with not much bad experience which is when you learn the most.
Looking forward to seeing your photos.
