I used 2 55 Watt Halogen lights and hung them through the existing holes in the ROPS, then I drilled 2 small holes to fish the wire through down to the large hole in the ROPS (at the hazard light). This is where I mounted a black plastic project box (5" x 2" x2") from Electronis shop ($3). I got a John Deere toggle switch (same as light switch on JD 445) and mounted it to the project box. I did my connections in the box and fished one set of wires down through the ROPS where the power wires were already hanging (from the factory). The wires had bullit connectors so I put those on my wires and simply plugged into the factory pigtails that were provided.
These wires provide power only when the light switch is in the position that has the headlights on and the tail lights (no blinking hazzards. This is why i installed the toggle switch. It gives you the option of turning on the Aux lights only when you want and you wont blind anyone if driving down the road.
Anyway, it was a quit simple and neet looking install.
