I need to find a front hydraulic outlet kit for the 2084 I just bought. It is part #759-3493. This is the kit with the horizontal plastic handle on the dash, not the outboard vertical levers. I'm looking for it to operate the power angle on a snow blade.

Thanks in advance for any help with this. If anyone knows of a parts house or junkyard that might have one, let me know.

David

Wow! I don't think I'll be buying one from them! Thanks for the link.

Just thought I'd post a follow up. I ended up getting a used hydraulic kit from R.F. Houtz for $225. I also bought wheel weights and chains while I was at it.

I finally picked up the 2084 yesterday. I met the seller in upstate NY and drove it back through the sleet and rain, pretty messy ride. I haven't run it beyond driving it off the trailer but it looks to be in good shape, and starts right up and runs smooth. It doesn't appear to have been abused at all. The 54" deck is kind of beat up, I'll take a closer look but don't really plan to mow with this tractor anyway. I'll get to work on it in the next few days to mount the plow and install the hydraulics. Only thing I found that needs adjusting is the brakes, the left doesn't grab at all and the right could be tighter.

Here's the new (to me) 2084, still with road salt all over it.

David,
Nice, In my opinion those were some of the best tractors ever made.

On another note, every Cub garden and Super Garden tractor I've ever owned needed brake pads. I don't know why, I never use the brakes. I've never been able to convince myself to spend what Cub is asking for those pads, I think they are about $100 for both rears.

Hey, that tractor would look good with a 54" blade on the front, I'm sure we're going to get a few more storms!

Enjoy
Curt

Hi Curt, I was wondering how long it would take you to ask about getting the plow mounted! I dropped the deck today and took a look, I think the plow will fit fine, just have to get some time to get it done.

I love this style of tractor (I put this 2084 and my 1864 in the same category, controls and setup are nearly identical). For me its a great blend of the older and newer features that I like.

I haven't been able to take the time to set it up. My dad is at the end of a long battle with Alzheimer's and we are staying with him until the time comes. Its a blessing for him, and he is not in any discomfort, just part of life.

So, tractors and plows have to wait a bit .........
