Front loader and rear lift not raising correctly

The OP said the loader was less than ideal also. If the FEL valve is the first valve after the pump, then it should be getting the total flow from the pump. I would recommend a hyd gage in the FEL IN port to determine if the pressure is available. The speed of operation will determine if the flow is sufficient for normal operation. If it is not, then suspect the pump, but also check out the suction hose. It might be sucking air.

Why take the the 3pt out of operation. Doesn't the BH need the 3pt to lift it?

Many/most of the backhoes on newer compacts are frame mount backhoes with a subframe. These require the 3PH to be removed from the hydraulic circuit so you do not inadvertently raise the arms. This is normally done with a hose that routes all fluid to the backhoe. Normally a quick connect fitting is disconnected from the 3PH and connected to the backhoe. When the backhoe is removed a quick connect fitting is re-connected and the 3PH will work. If the OP has a 3PH backhoe, then your comments are valid; however, if he has the frame mount type, removing it and reconnecting the line for normal 3PH operation would eliminate the backhoe from the circuit.

Your prior comments about measuring FEL pressure are certainly valid, but I just don't know the exact flow of the John Deeres. I wish I knew so I could give better advice, but I want the OP to know that I am really guessing about the flow and priority of the hydraulic system.

In a series hyd circuit, if the last valve in the circuit is closed, as in engaging 3pt operation, you can read the pressure anywhere up to the 3pt. If the gage is installed at the input to the FEL valve, then anytime a valve, cyl, motor, is operated, the pressure will read out on the gage. If all valves are in neutral, no or very little pressure will be indicated. If a valve up stream is using all the pump flow, then none is available for the rest of the system, because the cyl and motor return fluid is going to tank. If the first valve is only using partial flow, then the rest of the hyd system can function at reduced speed.
