Front loader carryall

I'm assuming Runner has forks.

With forks like I mentioned you could build anything you wanted out of wood. From something as simple as a pallet with sides, to entire work shop, as long as you can still lift it.

I have the same situation. I really like being able to just grab the carryall on the front and go, without having to drop the mower, chipper or whatever is on the back.

That is a neat setup! As others have asked, is that box on forks, or did you build a QA attachment?

And what's with the hitch receiver under the front edge of the box? You planning to haul garden implements and tow a trailer at the same time? :D

I modified a HF quick hitch to fit on my loader mounts.

You are correct, Sir, that is a receiver hitch on the carryall. You bet your britches that I do pull a trailer with it in that configuration...

That's great! so you could use it on the rear as well. I see you have another adapter between the QH and the carryall?

You could use a set of forks and build any type/size carryall you desired out of wood.

Or use a loader mounted receiver hitch and slide a conventional carryall into it.

You could also get a a 3pt carryall from tractor supply for small money.

Here's one monster box I built to handle leaves, also makes a nice work platform for reaching higher places. but this does require you to have the forks.

I would spend the time building forks and the use pallets as a basis for a carry-all

I use my forks all the time

There are many great suggestions on how to build forks

I spent less than 40 bucks building mine

I've even used for brush I use all the time for logs I put everything I can on pallets now and move and store that way

My forks are two of my most used attachments

My 2 cents

Good luck

I agree, even though I didn't build my own and mine cost close to a grand, I still do not regret it.

Though I got mine when I ordered the tractor because I had an immediate use. If I had known about all these homemade plans I might of gone that route to save some green.

Yes, the "adapter" is also a trailer hitch. I made the adapter because my KK carryall and rake are not quick hitch compatible. One of these days, I'll probably modify them, but the adapter seemed like the easy solution at the time.

...and to those asking about the carryall build thread... I thought I did one, but the only one I found was this:

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/customization/144060-modified-king-kutter-carryall.html

After that one, I built the sides and seat and I'm not sure I posted any pics of that process, maybe they're scattered amongst other threads so here are some. The steel stakes on the sides are "nested" so top tube slides into the bottom tube and the bottom tube slides into the "stake pocket" which is another tube. I don't like bolts sticking out to snag things, so I drilled holes in the tubes to recess the ends of the bolts.

The seat is reinforced with some old bed rails, just to keep it from sagging and racking from side to side. The seat and each of the side and end pieces are removable.

The receiver hitch is just cut-down from one that came off a car, bolted between the "forks" of the carryall frame.
