Has anyone had experience with an Erskine front mount snow blower for a JD 4720? My driveway is over 2000 feet so I do not want to use a rear mount blower. At the moment, this is all I can find.

I don't have any specific info on this blower...

BUT...My dealer (Padula Brothers in Lunenburg, MA PadulaBrothers) had a 4720 with a BIG BLACK front mounted snowplower on it on their lot for a while. I always wished I had taken a picture of it.

Give them a call they might be able to tell you what they did.

Brian Mansfield is the guy to talk to

Just curious...I am in the process of replacing my 955 Deere and its equipment as the 955 drivetrain is broken. I have the 59" snowblower set up for the front of my 955...wondering if the same blower would work on newer models, but with the correct new model mounts, etc. Any experience with that?

Yes it will, I have the same blower that went from my 4200 to a 4310 and now to my new 3039r. The new tractors use a 3pt mount on the front which you can but a kit to convert your old blower. Mutton power equipment has a conversion chart on line on what you need to convert.
