Forks Front pallet fork frame also for 3 point hitch

/ Front pallet fork frame also for 3 point hitch #11
If you ever do build a set for your 3 pt hitch you will wonder how you managed without them. Combined with a hydraulic top link it is an unbeatable combo. I have found that being able to tilt the forks up so the load center of gravity is closer to the tractor increases the lifting capacity of the rear forks and hence their usefulness. Wood pallets, logs, large round bales are all easily handled with a set of rear forks with the hydraulic top link. And as noted in the first post the rear lifting capacity is way greater than the front set of forks.

I made both my front and rear forks for my tractor using old forks and making a simple frame for each end of the tractor. I probably have < $500 in both, but I bought my metal and forks some years ago and had access to a good welder. Still a whole lot cheaper than new forks. W. Jones
