Front PTO?

I've seen Unimogs with front, mid and rear PTO setups. The middle pto usually runs the hydraulic pump while the front and rear can be run at the same time or one at a time. I think the 540/1000 speed selector applies to both so you can't select different speeds for the ptos at the same time.

I have an IH 2444 that has a front crank driven pump for the loader. Not really a PTO as it is engine RPM speed.

Found this a while back searching for front PTO and hitch setup. The front hitch setup was pretty pricey. I found a company thatmade front PTO kits too but I lost the link. If I remeber right it was almost $10k to setup my tractor. If they only made the New Holland TV140 around 50ish HP /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but when I was on Iseki's website they had a picture of a compact tractor looked to be about 24 hp with a front pto and front mount finish mower. Looked kind of neat and that proves that you can put a mid mount on the front.

I believe that the older Kioti's had a mid and maybe front mount PTO. I think that maybe some of the early imported Kubota's too.
Of course I could be mistaken /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've seen the older Kubotas with a front PTO off the engine. I saw one where the front PTO was used for a MMM. In fact my L4310 has the same shaft coming off the crankshaft as the older ones.

My Kioti LB 1914 has a rear and a front PTO. The front PTO is engine driven and as far as I know no attachments are available for it.

I have for sale a complete (new) Front PTO FP 72A for Kubota B5200, B6200, and B7200. Will run a MMM and front snow blower.

You will definately be able to sell that - lots of iseki grey owners would love that rig, because it can give you an independent pto to run a belly mower from. Very handy indeed to have a front pto - also great for a blower, almost any blower could be modified to work....
