front remotes

Iwould like to add front remotes to my new holland 45d so that i could run skid steer attachments . My question is , will my 45d have enough power to run a front hydraulic snow blower they seem much bigger and heavier than the three point blowers.

The hydraulic pump output on your tractor is about 9 gallons per minute at 2000 psi. This equates to approximately 9hp, and even less when you consider system inefficiencies. This would be on the low side for a hydraulic snowblower, and for that matter, most skidsteer attachments.

You might get a PTO driven hydraulic pump that could put out 22gpm at that pressure, but you would have to have a separate fluid tank and large hose running to the front of the tractor, and some type of controlling valve.

That sounds like a lot of work to me, however.
