Front tires on NH TC-29D

Along with max allowable tire pressure, you can relieve pressure on the front tires by keeping weight on the 3ptlift,such as a box grader, etc. Think of your rear wheels as the pivot pt for a seesaw. Weight on the back means less down pressure on the front.

Thanks guys, I always have the bush hog or finishing mower on the back when I am using the FEL and in addition the rear tires are loaded, I will pay more attention to my air pressure in the front tires, admittedly I have been lax there but I also will look into the foam filling of the front tires...anyone know how much that should cost ? Thanks agian

I have a TC 29D with FEL and I love it in all ways except the front tires..they are small and when I have a load in the bucket on the FEL they really mash down and one of these days I am afraid it will break the seal..I am wondering if I can replace just the front tires or front tires and wheels with a larger size without screwing anything else up..Any thoughts. ?

I had a similar issue with my 1320 with the turf tires on the front. When it came time to replace them, I replaced them with R4 industrial tires that had the same diameter, however instead of having 2 ply sidewalls, they had 6 ply sidewalls. They did not mash down, and wore longer.

There is a turf made for the front in your size with 2? more plies. I think they are rated for about 10 more psi than stock. I have them, though I cant recall the brand/ model #. search my old posts and I have spoken up about them before. I run them at max psi with full bucket and no more squish.

The R4 front tires on my TC-33DA each took 91 pounds of foam at $1.25/pound. Total bill was $227.50 plus tax. That price is from about 3 years ago.
