not to do the latter. I explained in my post [2nd one I think] that the outer wheel turn angle is not necessarily affected by toe out. It depends on whether the turn stop is in front or behind the pivot. Further, I only suspect toe out with the wheels straight would improve
maneuverability, not straight line handling. Toe out with the wheels turned is a necessity for responsive turning. The steering arms design orientation wrt the pivot should ensure the correct amount to get the fronts to run in concentric circles with no scrubbing at all turn angles. If they dont accentuate toe out enuf in turns,
augmentation by introducing initial moderate toe out in the straight position could help more than it hurts.
