Currently have a Kubota L2500 2wd that needs some weight on the front end. Dealer can order weights, but shipping is really high. Found the local JD dealer has weights in stock, just wondered if there was anybody that had tried mix & match on something like this.

If you can fabricate some, you may want to look at dumbell weights. Many use them, and they are typically much cheaper. It think I saw a set advertised this weekend at our local sporting goods store for something like $139 for a 260lb set.

If you can find them used that is even better. I would check local Salvation Army stores and like, or flea markets.

Just another option.

I all ready have the weight bar, and the JD weights are really cheap, so I think I'll have to go that way. Thanks

"... JD weights are really cheap"

What was the price he gave you on those 42# weights?
