Kubota BX2200
I finally decided I needed a little more weight on the front end after using a brush hog I borrowed from a friend, and too many trees to have the FEL attached.

I had added a front bumper earlier, see "bumper for a BX2200" posted in the Kubota owning & operating forum.

I dug in my misc. steel storage area (junk pile) and got a piece of 4" purling and a piece of 4 " square tubing and cut a couple of 4" squares to close up the tubing.

I cut the purling and tubing to 19" to match my bumper, cut enough 1/2" rebar to fill the tubing, added some punch outs to fill in the voids and closed the tubing with the 4" squares.

I notched the purling to fit over the supports for the bumper and welded the closed tubing to the purling, painted it black to match the frame and hooked my new 55lb weight over the bumper.

It is amazing how just a little weight will change the balance of the bota.

I may add another 55 lbs by fillling another 4" square tube with some more rebar and attaching it to the bottom of the first one.
