With that machine he should have been able to haul off the entire bank.

I like it, they did so much damage to the bank that they couldn't get to the ATM's through the debris to get their money.

That, perhaps, is the best thing about 99% of felons, ie they ain't too bright.

I was Network Admin at a local bank for several years. Those ATMs are super tough. The Diebold ATMs we used weighed a little over 3000#. I saw a few videos that the local servicemen had and the crooks might tear up the electronics pretty bad, but I don't think the vaults had ever been opened with brute force.
Best one was where a guy hit one w/ his Caddy. You see the car coming in the ATM camera then a burst of static then sky. Then you see a photo of the guys car w/ the front end completely demolished.
