Cliff, Tony & the rest of the Gang...
This line should be in the dealer pipeline in the next few weeks...
The only answer I could get on pricing was
Competitive.
If you notice on the rear blade, you can install a hydraulic cylinder... I believe this rear blade translates to a rb700/800 series over on Woods side. About $750-850 ? Again, don't hold me to it. I'll try to come back and confirm this.
Everything about this Frontier line
shouts at you...QUALITY... Why of course... it's made by Woods.
I half joked to the John Deere rep. and told him they could advertise the
paper thin steel X13 Rotary cutter series as
medium duty Finish mowers... Guess what... he scribbled it down on paper... /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif
The quality of John Deere implements has been always
top shelf... There is nothing wrong with the JD gearbox or driveline... the X13 series in my opinion was designed with the wrong gauge steel... if they would use a 10 gauge deck and 7 gauge skirt... that would eliminate their current problem on this
light duty line... that's the problem... it's absolutely too light duty for brush hogging purposes. This series really gave John Deere a black eye... I think they realize it now.
