Frontier Wood Chipper

I hope they make it in a L version with the hydro feed - I could seriously use a chipper on my property but would need a limited 3ph version and the auto feed would clinch it - Last time I rented a chipper it ran me 300 bucks for the day, I could easily make one of these things pay for itself over the course of maybe two years with the amount of limbs and what not that I pile up every year - nothing worse that "finding" a huge wasp nest in that brush pile that's been piling up!

The chipper is a ways off (next summer/spring), but the snow blower on the other hand is something I need in the next 90 days. I have the "old" one on order, but would really like a wider one to cover the track width. I saw in another post that the newer wider ones wouldn't be out 'till 2009 - that seems a long ways off. Do you know something different?

I think your confusing Front mount & Rear 3pt mount...I'm referring to the rear 3pt mounted Deere/Frontier Blowers...When I was shopping, they said they were expecting some this fall in 60ish" and 70ish" sizes... Option of Manual Rotation & Hydraulic Rotation. From the sounds of it, all the JD Rear Mount Blowers were gonna be in on time for the 08-09 Winter Season....

I've noticed this week that there is now a Frontier section in the JD configurator. Once the configurator is up, click on Frontier on the left-hand side. And there are three chipper models and a dozen 3 point snowblower models listed there.

Rather than buy your Wallenstein from John Deere as a Frontier...just get it from here...

When the feed gets cranky...its probably time to sharpen the knives...

I don't think these are the same. My dealer just quoted me three models,

WC1103 3" capacity gravity feed
WC1105 5" capacity gravity feed
WC1205 5" capacity hydraulic feed

Your link shows a 4" or 6" version.

Ref the Snow Blower: I had seen mention of a new front blower for the 2000 series - larger, to cover the full wheel width. That would be something I would be very interested in.

Skidoo: did your dealer give you any pricing info on the chippers?

Ductape is correct. My understanding is that they are Pequea chippers.
