I have the taller, folding ROPS on my JD 4200 and have NEVER, EVER hit it on my door. Of course, my door is 12' high. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I have, however, managed to knick the doorframe going in and out with my loader bucket, backhoe stabilizer arm, backhoe bucket and at least one tire. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Needless to say, while I can't get the ROPS high enough to do any damage, I've tried to make up for it on the sides where I do have control. If you got by with no real damage done, count yourself lucky and hope your experience will serve as a reminder to not do it again.
It's nothing to be embarrassed about. I'm sure a lot more have done it than will admit it. It's kind of like riding a motorcycle. There are three kinds of riders; those who've had a bike down and admit it, those who haven't had their bikes down yet and liars. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
