Welcome to TBN!!!

I'm assuming the symptoms are the starter doesn't crank (since you replaced the safety switches and PTO switch)...is that correct?
Are you getting lights when you turn the key to the On position? Have you checked the starter for function?

Your post doesn't tell us much, really. More info may help...but perhaps you should get the machine to a qualified mechanic.

Right off the bat, I'll let you know I am not familar with Ex Mark equipment.
However, safety switches on the tractors I'm familar with will prevent the starter from cranking (for example, you're trying to start the machine while off the seat).
To me, if the starter was cranking, that eliminated the Safety Switches and PTO switch as possible causes. However, since you state you ran a wire from the switch to the starter, you may be bypassing the safety/pto switches. However, the engine should have started.

So, your initial problem was the starter not cranking...is that correct?

Which switch did you wire directly to the starter?

It will probably help if you respond with all the symptoms and everything you've done in sequence.
One sentence responses don't tell us much...I'm assuming, based upon your response (and abbreviations, lack of capitalization), that you're responding on a cell phone. Wait until you can respond on a PC or laptop so you can respond with more detail and as clearly as possible.

well- what motor do you have in your exmark? I am going to take a haphazard guess its a kawaski. If you think you have no spark in plug, but engine will turn over with key, then try removing kill wire to coil. if still no fire, you might have a bad coil. or you might have broken flywheel key. if engine jumps back at you when trying to start, you might have valves that needs to be reset.

Does it have one of those stupid safety switches that kills the engine if you try to back up with the mower engaged? Might be a problem with that.

Welcome to TBN.

Not sure of all the symptoms you are having nor the exact model you have, but I recently worked on an Ex Mark for a friend that wouldn't start. After trying everything, it ended up being one of the relays on the inside of the switch panel under the seat. Remove the panel where the ignition switch is and it is to the left looking from the front. Took me a few hours troubleshooting to realize they had relays hidden under the grass clippings and dirt. Good luck

No it does not have one of those. I did get it to run long enough to mow half of my yard then it died now wont start back. I have checked for spark which it has, motor turns over just fine but now it seems like I am not getting enogh gas. I just dont have time to work on it, I work 3rd shift full time and part time days. Frustrated is not the word I have for it right now. Thank you to all those who have helped me so far.

A fair number of the small gas engines have a engine vacuum powered fuel pump. Check for dirt buildup on the sintered brass filter and blow off with compressed air if there is any dirt there. (typically filter is next to engine). Next check needle valve in carb if fuel pump is ok.

This is what I have to do to mine (it's a JD though) once or twice a year when it does not get gas. Remove the gas line from before the pump (if equiped) and the filter (be ready to catch any gas if necessary), if there isn't a full flow of gas or even little gas or no gas at all blow back twords the tank, be ready for a full flow of gas (don't swallow). Many times on many different lawnmores I have worked on grass clipings and dirt get into the tank and simply clog the line where it enters the tank. It seems simple but it works for me. You may even be able to look into the tank and see the line hole I can because the tank is white plastic and the light passes through it.
