I do see TRC stuff on ebay from time to time but not with any frequency. I don't see the company doing any internet sales anytime soon. They tend to be old fashioned in their business practices. Shoot, they just started doing advertisement's in trade publications last month for the first time in 86 years.

What about Acetone as an additive? I have not tried it, but reading the hipe on the internet about it being an additive that is now left out by the refineries for increasing octane. Some are saying they have increased mileage in both gas and diesel engines using ratios of 3 Oz in 10 gallons.

There have been a number of studies debunking the acetone thing....I think MythBusters even had a segment on it. In any case you sure don't want any acetone in diesel fuel.

I only, again only use fuel adds that Dyson Analysis says are good. YMMV.

I have been a diesel mechanic for almost 15yrs,.. and if there is one additive I DO NOT recommend in a diesel engine is acetone. Acetone tends to bond with water molecules and transfers them to the injection pump and stores them causing rust and corrosion. So in turn basically makes the water separator null. It also will cause injector damage,.. resulting in hanging injectors and cylinder washout
