Fuel cans

Its been stated but definately "Smoke up your HooHoo".

I bought mine at the local TSC as well for about the same price as the red plastic gas can. Before buying my 300 gal tank I was using both red and yellow cans to fill the heavy equip and my tractor. Yuk...that was a pain at 60 or so gal a day! I smile everytime I pull up to that tank!!

Thanks to everyone for the response to my question. I'm glad I didn't spend the $14.00. Sounds like the sales guy at Ace Hardware was really pushing the baloney...Maybe he should go into politics...

I used spray paint to put a huge 'D' on the sides of a red can before I broke down and got two yellow cans. The spray paint is starting to wear off though. Thank god, because now it's being used for gas again!

Bubba,
Politicians, salesmen... they both just want your money, and consider themselves really successful if they sell you something you don't want.

I've been using the same cans for diesle and gas for years.

A five gallon container doesn't hold enough residue when empty to worry about.
