Attached is a picture of my fuel tank after carefully using air pressure to expand it back to it's original shape. It came back perfectly except for one very small dimple at the upper right.

You obviously have a plugged breather hole in the cap. use a straightened paper clip and clean it out. If you don't have a hole in the cap, your breather hose is pinched or has something in it. Find it, and either remove the kink or obstruction or replace it.

Dayrl,

You need to read my first post that tells the complete story. If you look at the bottom of the B7500 fuel cap (I'm sure other models are the same) you will see a series of evenly spaced oval holes molded in the plastic at the outer circumference. These cavities are formed to go down in toward the center of the cap with the air connection coming through a small hole in the center of the rubber diaphram. This cap was brand new and could not have gotten clogged up in the short time I used the tractor. It is not designed to be cleaned with a paper clip. One would have to wash it and use air pressure to clean it. But this cap was just a bad mold. That was confirmed by the dealer.

Your profile dosen't give your local location so I don't know who the dealer is, but I deal with Dans Farm Supply in Adrain, Michigan. As long as your dealer made it right, that's cool. I know Dans would. By the way, the name is "Daryl" not Dayrl". No problem though, I've been called a lot worse, mostly by my wife!!

Daryl,

Sorry about the fat finger mess up of your name. I live in Addison Township, MI. My dealer is Rosie Brothers in Dryden. Been very happy with them so far. They even use beet juice.

Hi Dwayne,

Hope you have good luck with your new BX. When I first started looking the BX was my machine of choice. The 2 reasons I went to the little bigger 7500 were that I couldn't seem to get comfortable with the forward/reverse pedal no matter where I put the seat. And I was concerned after a lot of reading on forums like this about using the BX FEL. My property is a little hilly and I would have to have a lot of counterweight in back to stabilize.

I have a friend who lives or should I say uses Dryden as a mailing address. Bryan Becker. He and his wife Sue raise Percheron Draft horses, like my wife does. (I don't).

That is at least if the Dryden i'm thinking about is between Lapeer Road and Van Dyke, just south of 69.
