Fuel Cap

Anyone know of a universal fuel cap that will fit on a Branson (specifically - 3520R)?
While disking, mine came came off and cannot be found. Unfortunately, my local dealers and all the onlines one I have been able to fine are out of stock. I cannot wait the weeks it might take to get an OEM replacement from one of them and need something I can get right now.

Anyone know of a fuel cap that will work? Doesn't have to be great, just get me through the next few weeks or so.

BE VERY CAREFUL, the 15/20 series use the cap as the tank vent so which ever you end up using needs to have a vent built into it.

Zip loc bag and a rubber band. Put a little stick vertical to let it vent. Ran them for years that way. You can get fancy and use a hose clamp. You can buy a pipe test plug at a hardware store. It's a rubber cap with a hose clamp on it. Used for head pressure on drain lines. I have them to repair radiators, so I can pressure them up and make sure no leaks.

Not to question your knowledge of Bransons, you have frequently offered very worthwhile insight; but is it indeed a vented cap? I ask this because my 4720ch has vent lines running from each of the tank halves to a point by the upper link on the three point. This vent line clogged once and my tractor was acting as if it were running out of fuel when it wasn't. I ran a wire down it, blew it out with air cut off a few inches and based on LouNY's suggestion, installed a fuel filter to keep bugs or whatever it was getting in the vent line. It has worked fine ever since. Perhaps I have a vented cap that is also clogged and there is a redundant vent system?

That's probably because yours is an older model with the dual tanks.

I can indeed confirm that the newer models(newer than your tractor), with the single tanks vents through the cap. Mine is that way.

aah you beat me to it ptsg, yes i should have been more specific, the new i believe 2014-2015 & up will have the newer caps with the vents and anything before that year range should have the dual tanks with built in vents
