That is the trouble with carrying coolers, chains, and chainsaws in the bucket when you don't think you'll need the loader. You always find something to shove out of the way and then look down to see that you've just run over your chainsaw.....again.

My old McCulloch didn't seem any worse for the experience, though. I kind of wonder if the Stihl would have fared as well, but don't really need to find out.

Ever since, I hang the saw from a chain on the top of the ROPS, suitably stabilized to keep it from swinging around, of course.

I read in Southern Tractor Living that you can raise the FEL all the way up, attach a spinnaker to it and you will get better mileage. Good for those long downwind rows.

Make sure to apply WD40 to the bucket as this will help the wind glide easier over the bucket thereby increasing horsepower. Seriously it works. I know a guy who knows a guy who did it.

Fuel is not a concern w/ me on FELs and shredding. However, I think the FEL vibrating around up there does add some wear to the pivots. So I just grease them like I had been using the FEL the whole time.
Counterpoint: We have a 4320 JD w/ a EZEEON FEL. I take it off when pulling the discs because it flops like a screen door across a rough field.
