I completly agree with your philosophy on seat belts.

My little B7100 does not have rops or seat belt and works amoungst trees on slopes most of the time.

A cage would be perfect but the single roll bar and seat belt is questionable in certain situations.

I think you know the right direction to take you are just pondering the "how" part. You can either fill those tires or bolt on the cast iron either method will go a long way in making your ride a more stable one.
