I have an L3200 and recently changed oil and the oil, fuel and air filters. I found a 'how to' video on YouTube showing oil change on a L3200, but I can find no information on the fuel filter. My question is, when I got the new filter at the dealership, it was just the filter, no O-ring. When I took the bowl off, the old O-ring was there and intact but I didn't pay close enough attention as to whether it was seated on the old filter or just laying there. When I installed the new filter, I wasn't quite sure if it was just to lay on top of the filter or what. Also, is that the only O-ring or did I miss one on the old filter? For reference, the filter part # is 6A320-59930. Any help would be appreciated.

There might be two o rings, one on the clear cover and another for the center. At least that’s what my 3350 has. The larger o ring is sold separately.

This might help you... When I changed my filter, my small little "O" ring stayed on the old filter and the new one was leaking. Easy to fixed.

The filter I have has the plastic top housing molded onto the paper element... for reference. It didn't come with any O-rings when I bought it. I used the large O-ring from the old filter, but I didn't notice a smaller O-ring on the old filter.

Part #s would be great. Can you give me details as to where exactly the O-rings go on the filter. When I removed the old filter, the large O-ring seemed to just be laying on top of the plastic housing. I didn't see a small O-ring and the parts guy offered/included ANY O-rings. I just want to make sure I have proper placement of the O-rings. Thanks!

I would go back and buy the o-rings. It's a good idea to replace them at the same time as the fuel filter. They get stiff over time, and don't necessarily reseat properly when reused.

Selling a filter w/o the orings is "cheezy"..
Just like selling a supply pump w/o a gasket or a thermostat w/o a gasket..
You guys ever had to replace a thermostat & they DIDNT HAVE a gasket IN STOCK?? Happens ALL THE TIME..
an .89 cent gasket!!! holds up the entire job..
sorry, got off track.
