Oil & Fuel Fuel filters for a BX

   / Fuel filters for a BX #21
One is by the engine near the pump and one is back between the lift pump and fuel tank
:) Thanks Kevin. As soon as the weather gets better, I'm gonna look for it. I wonder why the manual doesn't indicate this other one in the maintenance section? or did I just miss that page?

1*Are you careful enough ?
2*Thinkin about it don't help.

3*I'm running summer blend in my BXs with no problems.
4*Thats where I get mine .
Free delivery and no. min for a top off .

5*-6* Winter blend already has the kero in it.

7*&8* Same thing .
9*-10.Depends on what kind of arrangement is made .

regular diesel and off road winter blend does have kero but does biodiesel have kero ? if he is having gelling issues, its not gonna help with your statements

If your manual is laid out like mine..... Page 48, bottom right photo and Page 49, upper left photo.

Each photo shows a fuel filter, the one in the engine compartment and one underneath the rear. Hope that helps.

Who knows what you get at the pump. Most likley its blended, but the people that sell the stuff at the gas station haven't got a clue.

I would look for one of the large type truck stops along the interstates for fuel if your having problems locally,If they sell junk it will only take a few hr's it would be a noman's land for big trucks I doubt they would risk it.Many trucks purchasing fuel there are going somewhere colder, even at 400 miles away news travel's fast on those CB's . With pump fuel and Howe's here in Pa no problems with gelling run mine 5-10 below no problem's.I give it a good 10 second's of glow plugs and BX is up and running. good luck
