Fuel Gauge on ZD21

Fuel gauge reads full as soon as you turn on key and stays there until you turn off key. Anyone had this happen to their unit? Any ideas of what problem might be? I am wondering if it might be the gauge or something wrong in tank. Any help would be appriciated. Darn sure don't want to run the thing out of fuel.

I have not yet seen my fuel gauge come off the full mark either
But have been using the other side tank all the time - Have seen the low level light come on a few times
My fuel gauge has mositure stuck inside which I believe came from the dealer leaving the machine out in the weather on the lot

Have'nt had any problems with my gauge, yet. I would expect it to be with the sending unit instead of the gauge - unfortunately. Good thing is these mowers will run all day on a full tank of fuel.

On my new ZD326, the left tank fuel gauge definitely moves from the "full" position as fuel is used. If anything, it is too jumpy (responds immediately to diesel sloshing around in tank).

On the ZD326 the guage works with the left tank only, and the right tank has a low fuel light on the panel. I went throught he same dismay and finally went back and asked the dealer.:ashamed:
