Not a direct comparison I know, but the gauge on my B7500 shows "full" when it is above 80% or so, then drops pretty much linearly from there on down.

The fuel gauge on my B2410 appears to be functioning normally. It does go slightly over the full mark when I fill it up, but the "empty" side of things seems fairly accurate. I haven't let it get much lower than 1/8 of a tank but I was still going strong at that point.

I have the best guage on my L3000, it always reads "Full" so its ready cheap to run /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

The fuel gauge on my B2410 acts like GlueGuy has described. I have run it down nearly to the 'E' line without running out of fuel.

My B2710 works about like our cars; takes quite awhile to come off the full mark, then the lower it gets the faster it falls, been down to less than 1/8 and haven't run out yet.

My guage belongs in the fiction section. read 3/4 full and yet it took almost 5 gallons!

L4610 fuel gauge is in the fiction section as well. Definitely non-linear. Haven't run it dry but have run it below the little red empty line. Even then it didn't hold the volume advertised for the tank. Assuming Kubota got the liters/galons thing right then the gauge is a bit of an alarmist but better this way than running dry with a quarter showing. I think my Kubota is still more accurate than my Ram 3500 before or after the dealer replaced the sender under warranty.

My fuel guage seemed to be working fine until I got stuck down on the river bank. It sat their nose first at about a 30 degree angle for about 1/2 hour. (the tank was about 1/3 full at the time.)
After I got it winched out, I noticed the guage said it was empty. Thought I had a fuel leak but thanks to that Big Gulp gas cap I could see it was not empty.
Two days later it still read empty and after hearing horror stories about running out of fuel I decided not to press my luck and filled it up to the brim.
Well what do you know the fuel guage started working again.
I figured that some how when it was nosed into the river bed the float must have become lodged.
I guess that was the one way it could tell me enough was enough.
