Fuel Issue & draining

   / Fuel Issue & draining #11
why are we getting so much algae growth these days and issues with diesel fuel that we never had/saw before? is it because of the lower sulfur content? Is this only happening in Bio Diesel or with the ULSD? I presume the yellow/green slimy stuff is algae, it is even that color in my off road red dyed diesel when i catch it in my strainer on my funnel from 5 gal cans so i know its coming from the station where i am getting it.

Lower sulphur content is a big reason. Some bio-diesel content is another. The issue has been around, it's just more prevalent now.
