Tractor
tym 233hst
233tym Tractor has not run in years. Replaced fuel filter, pump, and injectors. Problem is it only runs smooth with #2 injection line cracked loose. Tighten it. It stalls. Foam is coming out. Ran fine for several minutes, tighten line it stalls. Any suggestions?
Assuming it's in the injection pump.

I would start with the injectors. If the other two are getting fuel in the correct amourt to run, than I doubt it is the pump. The pump is simply a cam with some followers which are the pump cylinders.

Check around for Mitsubishi S3L parts. there is a guy offering the complete set of three on eBay For around $50.

The lowest I have seen for a used fuel pump is $400.

It’s very possible that the injector is stuck open.. & when u tighten it, the compression is blowing back into the pump, shutting it down..
A very easy test would be to swap it to another cylinder and see if the problem follows the injector..
I can redo those injectors for u..
