You could try tracking down exactly where the tank is leaking - IF the tank is leaking. You want to make sure you didn't just get a bit sloppy when filling. If the tank is indeed cracked you'll have to go through your dealer and hope for a warranty replacement.

I have the L2501 which should be similar. On this tractor the hood hinges at the back so you would probably have to remove the hood to check this out. Before going that route you could try adding a bit of fuel at a time to be sure you didn't inadvertently spill some fuel and it ran over there. You also probably have some extra anti pollution stuff that mine lacks. There may be a vent line somewhere that mine lacks. It could be clogged.

was very careful used a funnel w/screen there is an overflow at the top but I never got that far. Dealer said it could be mice but beside the overflow at top there is a feed line at the bottom. If it were damaged it would have already been leaking. I am suspecting a crack near the top of the tank. TY for the reply

Could be mice? I suppose it could but I have my doubts. Wires - definitely. Small overflow pipe - possibly. Tank proper - I'm not sure they could open their mouths far enough to bite it. Some injectors feed into a return line to the fuel tank. This would probably be pretty high on the tank and I don't know if the newer tractors still do that but I'm throwing the possibility out there. If the tank itself is cracked, plastic can be welded but the proper fix is a replacement tank. Good luck to you.

Agree the small injector return fuel line and connectors are suspect. Repair once with autozone hose then repaired again right hose from a diesel shop.

Clean areas with brake cleaner, blow dry and then puff with talc is sometimes helpful finding a leak.

I would at least fill the tank again to confirm you have an repeatable problem. Is it warranty repair covered by the dealer?

Sometimes a light and inspection mirror will help. Often can require removal of sheet metal. A work shop manual can help. I had older Kubotas that were a bear to remove sheetmetal for access. The newer ones have improved in that regard. At a shop much of time for labor is for accessing the defective part.

After my wife’s mowing with B26 found about a two foot piece of 1/2” vinyl hose in the yard. Took me awhile to figure it came from the the top of the fuel tank spill ring to route fuel spillage to below the tank and engine. Don’t know what caused it to come off and lucky it wasn’t chopped up by the mower. The routing of that hose was behind sheetmetal not easily removed.

Things seem harder to work on now. Maybe it’s age. Don’t think I could have easily changed a heating element on a newer clothes dryer without the help of the Internet. The part only cost $15 but a service call(s) would be $100s. With any disassembly repair taking pictures with your phone as you go, bagging or using separate trays for hardware per section helps when putting things back together.

Have found the plastic fuel tanks to be rugged but defects and damage still can happen.

Keep us apprised of what you find and the remedy.
