Fuel Light

[BX1500]

I purchased a new BX 1500 just under a year ago. A left over with three hours on it. I looked at the 1860 but it was $3000 more so based on specifications, it was an easy decision. My question is regarding the fuel light. I have put nearly 90 hours on the machine in about 11 months and though I am well aware of my fuel consumption, the light goes on and off even after fill. It will stay on at times even though I know I have plenty of fuel. I am curious if other BX1500 owners have had this issue. Thank you.

My BX1500 fuel light will flash now and then if I am on a fairly steep slope and the fuel is less than about half full. I pretty much just ignore it unless I am on a flat area or know I have not filled up in a long while. The BX gets really good fuel usage so one can easily forget to check the tank.
