6200 John Deere
My 6200 acts like it's running out of fuel but has plenty of fuel getting to the injector pump. The strange thing is that you can loosen the plug on the side of the pump so that fuel drains out on the ground and the tractor runs great tighten the plug and it shuts down does anyone have any ideas

I'd check fuel return path,bad valve or an after market filter.

Your building pressure inside the inj. pump for some reason.. probably trash in the return connector..
Follow the line to the front of the pump.. it has a checkball in that connector.. its called a "non-return" valve.. {CAV/Lucas/Delphi}
Clean/blow it out & reinstall.. Loosen the cap on the tank & blow back thru that return line too.. Change your fuel filters..
IF you let it go to long, it'll build enough pressure to blow the front seals outta the front of the pump.. then your SOL..
Check your oil level..
Good luck.
