Fuel Starved Engine

I once owned a M4900 that acted as you describe as fuel bowl wouldn't stay full & engine would stop running.. Local Kubota service manager told me to check fuel shut valve in water separator for a plugged screen. Sure enough there was a small white screen that was plugged. I removed screen and never had any more fuel problems with that tractor as long as I owned it.

That's another good one for me to look at, thanks Jim. I haven't gotten around to working on it yet. Whitetail bucks in rut have me preoccupied right now. And since we've had some rain I wouldn't be disking at the moment anyway. But I sure do appreciate the suggestions everyone - thanks!
