how do you drain the deisel fuel tank on a 4020 john deere , I think it is a later model if that matters because it has the small injectors .

There is a drain cock just like on a car radiator. And just like the ones on a radiator you turn then to the right to open them, just the opposite of loosening a bolt. You can also add a piece of fuel line on there first to send the fuel right to a jug instead of letting it get all over the frame and the ground.
