Well, things are almost thawed out up here (I say almost as it snowed most of yesteray, and stuck until it changed to rain...), so Sat. I decided it was time to start grading the road (BIG ruts from 4wd trucks driving in and out right now). FEL down, cutting a bit off the top, and back dragging yielded decent results (I still want a back blade, however...). There were a couple locations that were a *bit* wet however...front tires almost completely under soupy mud /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.
I did get stuck once...trying to push over / dig out some alder...wiggling the bucket back and forth, and the front tires were wayyy dug in before I even knew it /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif. So, I tilted the bucket down, lifted the front of the machine up, and curled the bucket back up while slowly reversing...worked great (though I imagine it stressed the FEL a bit...).
Next time (there's still A LOT of work to do) I'll try and take some photos....
