Anyone seen the movie "Funny Farm" with Chevy Chase? For some reason I get a kick out of this movie and have watched several times.

It is a great movie. Christmas Vacation is a classic as well.
How you ever seen the movie "Being There" starring Peter Sellers?

How about Son-in-Law with Pauley Shore. What a riot. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Oh my!

There are some classic comedy films from the 70's and 80's. Almost anything by Mel Brooks, any movie with Gene Wilder, any of the National Lampoon movies, oh my, just so many that are just laugh out loud funny.

That has got to be "The" classic comedy bit in a movie. I've seen it a dozen times and I still laugh my a** off.

Chevy Chase said in an interview once that "Funny Farm" was his favorite movie. I love the part where they "queue the deer"!

I grew up with an Irish Setter as a pet, so I'm partial to the scenes where the crazy Irish Setter is "still running" across the fields in the background. Very funny.

Must admit that my favorite comedy has got to be "Opportunity Knocks" starring Dana Carvey. Guess it's just my twisted sense of humor /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif.

I'm amused by the Monty Python films, but then again my perspective may be off (not may, BUT IS) /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

The "Black Adder" series by Monty Python are the best!!

Let's try to slum (freudian slip /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif sum) this up.

Mel Brooks
Monty Python
Original Saturday Night Live crew (Chevy Chase, John Belushi, etc)
Original Second City TV crew (John Candy, Harold Ramis, etc - also includes Saturday Night Live)
Dom Delauise (sp)
Gene Wilder

Good grief - names escape me please add....

Good comedic actors.

Must correct!!

Black Adder series done by Rowan Atkinson of Mr. Bean fame - another good series.

Totally different from Monty Python.
