Our fescue/Ky31 yard is being over taken by wire grass (some say its a bermuda variety, some say its not)..
I found some stuff online mentioning Fusilade II as a good killer for wire grass but wont kill the fescue.. its seems that Fusilade II should be mixed with like 4 to 8 DROPS per gallon of water.. its expensive at $70ish/quart but that would cover about 900 acres i read on a some forum online (i didnt do the math again)
Anyone tried this and how did it work?
More research also came up that Ortho Weed-B-Gone is the same chemical - but will kill all grasses at the mixture rate on the label.. How would one go about trying to figure out how to water down the Weed-B-Gone to only kill the wiregrass..
thanks
