Rebuilding 188 diesel that seized a rod bearing. Should the rod oil holes on the crankshaft end,which were facing away from camshaft at disassembly, face the camshaft? Judging by all the permatex seen during disassembly the engine has been apart before. Cam bearings were also shot. Makes me think rods were installed backwards. I don't have a manual.

SSB sells manuals from some aftermarket company. For whatever reason, they are way more expensive than the OEM stuff. There are some owners manauls and stuff that are as much are 4x as expensive as the ones that come straight from Kubota.
