I think you can view my pictures on my PB account, if you want to sift thru 2k pictures! There's lots of details of truck builds and repairs, tractor projects, farm stuff, the list goes on... search PB for wvdieselcrawler.

I found pictures on my old phone, and made a folder of the cage build. Over 200 pictures... I'll sort out about 10-15 good ones and post them here for you, maybe tomorrow. I gotta sleep now, alarm rings in about 5 hours for work in the morning...

Here are a few pictures of the ROPS mount, and how I built a bracket that used the existing bolts that go into a cast corner bracket between the top bar and side posts of the factory ROPS. If I had it to do over, I would only slot one hole, not both. In a hard rollover, the brackets could slide out from under the bolt heads. The whole cage is designed to slide to the rear 3-4" for removal.

The lower mounts to the loader brackets just clam-shell around the 3" box tube they are made of... simple enough in design.

Detail of the clam-shell after final welding, with gussets.

Grill guard wasn't wide enough for limb risers to allow hood to raise, so I built a wider one, using the factory mounting points.

Fresh paint!

Hope the pictures help, it's a select few of over 200 I have of that build alone.

Many thanks again to DieselCrawler for sharing his wonderful fabrications - a delight to see and learn from.

I have started my project, but only just. I will try to document it a bit as I go but I know that I cannot do justice to DieselCrawler's work. All I did today was take some measurements of the top that will be my heavy duty canopy after the FOPS is built to determine the size for the FOPS top frame needed to accommodate the canopy and to rough out in paper the brackets I will be fabricating from 1/4" plate that I already have. I'll need four of these.

As you can see, this will be a nearly no-cost project as I have all the materials in my "treasure piles". And it will have the added benefit of making my bride happy to see the piles shrink, albeit only slightly.

This is not the sexiest photo to start a build, I know, but it's dark and cold out and I'm not walking to the barn to show you where this goes - tomorrow I'll edit the post with additional photos of the canopy and where and how these brackets will work.
