Has anybody noticed that the chlorine tanks are all made of plastic, even the storage tanks, and valves. A little chlorine might not hurt now, but just one rust spot, and the chlorine will eat away. I have seen a stainless steel spray tank bottom dissolved around the seams. I guess that is where a little bit of chlorine remained.
Every metal spray wand that I have used was destroyed by chlorine. The bleach injectors will corrode if not cleaned after using.
Yes, I really do think chlorine will eat metal.
