The epoxy goes on as thick as paint. When you've acid washed the concrete, it will feel like sandpaper, and when you put on the epoxy, it will smooth that sandpaper textured surface out. If you've patched a hole in the concrete, you'll be able to see where the hole was. If you put the paint flecks on fairly thick, it hides a lot of the imperfections though. You can still find them if you look for them, but they don't stick out like a sore thumb. I'd give the UCoatIt people a call and see what they say.

I looked at their site and bookmarked it. To do my area with the basic color is about $400. That's not too bad. I don't know if I want the flecks or not. Might look good, but I'd need the gloss coat and all that would really run up the price.

Too bad they don't have JD green base coat and JD yellow flecks!

Wow, That's one nice garage!

Afraid if I had something that nice, there would soon be a sofa, fridge, large screen TV, the family and no room for me or the tractor anymore! OK, they might let ME in... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Great job, Will
